he told med that the 20" kris holm 06 was the same as 05!

with trials it’s weight and strength, height diff wont effect strength i would have thought. But every little helps with weight 
You mean on the crown? I think they for grip when one foot riding and tuff
i’s more for gliding and stand up wheel walk, but it helps for one footing too.
I have heard that changes have occured in the latest shipment, we are apparently getting them in NZ near the end of this month…
Rumor has it that saddle, frame, cranks and rim are changed?

I can glide fine with the newer low crown frame. Even though the low crown is only saving a few g’s, it’s nice knowing my frame is as light as it can be. I also like how it looks.
I think at this point, it will be hard for you to improve the design of the kh20, unless you can find some extra fat to shave off.
off topic: I could see some sort of gusset at the crown/seat tube joint usefull on muni frames
