Going a bit off topic here…
I once knew someone who needed to knock a very small nail in the carpet in the floor of a campervan.
They used the first heavy object they could find…
… a fire extinguisher…the nail went through the casing and covered the inside of the van in powder.

I used to be a frequent poster on a forum that was a lot like that Hammer thread, finally got off the forum, so now I can look back and laugh.
I am sooo glad that this forum is well moderated and that people seem to know when enough is enough. That sort of interaction can be bad for you

I gotta say I like the new format… it’ll keep JC clean… but I’m still doubtful about some of the unicycling forums.

I think the forum is fairly well moderated.
What i hate in forums is when a thread is started about particular topic and then it goes of on a tangent. It reminds me of this one time…
Seems like sometimes the most “angst” comes from people who are upset about where people talk about what.
I think Gilby does a GREAT job!
In fact, he inspires me to want to create a website myself!
One conversation leads to another…
It would be a dry and uninteresting forum if not for conversations where people interact and share thoughts… that lead to other thoughts.
I’m not fussing… I just don’t understand why it’s such a big deal.
People that talk “unicycle” have aside comments about other things, and people that are talking about other things naturally bring in unicycle topics.
I suppose you could say I’ve gotten off the subject here myself… but it relates to the topic… and to the above comments.
For the most part, everyone here has something in common with everyone else!..

That makes everyone here pretty special… and at least a bit eccentric!
But we all share that one thing.
I imagine it’s difficult to separate “unicycle” from “non unicycle” comments or conversations.
They all overlap.
