The study was posted about quite a while ago; it was published in 2007 (to some acclaim in the scientific community, actually). I think the author posted it here but I can’t find it at the moment. Not sure why there’s a new article on it unless there’s a new study of some sort.
Shuster’s research was referenced earlier in this thread started by Klaas Bil. The article is not the same, though.
I vaguely recalled seeing an earlier article along the same lines.
It appears to be lazy journalism - making an article (and presumably getting paid for it) out of a study so old that everybody has presumably forgotten about any articles written about it at the time.
