this was on the inside of a CD i bought today (Sebadoh: Bake Sale) and i just thought it was pretty interesting.
All that person is doing is taking an old rim and riding a tightrope with it. Just like tightrope walking but about 100x harder.
That’s an interesting variation of slackrope walking. Very cool.
I wonder if walking in the rim like that would be considered a form of unicycling?
Is that girl on the ground covering that rock so that he doesnt hit it if he falls? what a sweety.

Actually, no. He’s walking inside the rim on a tightwire.
Just like tightrope walking but about 1.5x harder.
I’ve done it, it’s not too hard, and not terribly exciting
to do either
Sorry.

I’ve seen a picture of a guy doing that on an old poster from around the year 1900. Same poster showed him (Auc Cocet?) riding a very large ultimate wheel. This poster was on the wall in the Jenack house for many years.
