Happy Thanksgiving and to all a good turkey.

Thanksgiving is always the usual - going to grandma’s house for gravy covered turkey, luscious pumpkin pie, cider, Bawls, and of course olives for your fingers. There have been a few years where it has gone a little wild, such as the year when I was 2 years old and my cousin fed me so many olives I puked on grandma’s bed. There have also been sad years such Thanksgiving 2001 because it was the last time I ever saw my Uncle Steve before he died at age 51 of a heart wall rupture. I’ll always remember him going to my grandma’s house from our house (only 1/2 mile away) and then as he came back through the neighborhood he passed our house honking and waving with a huge smile. Another sad year will be this year because this is the first Thanksgiving without my Grandpa Bob.

But Thanksgiving isn’t about worrying yourself with the past, it is of course about giving thanks. Some things I am thankful for are my strong family with no divorces, God and Jesus, my incredible food, my wonderful unicycles, Unicyclist.com, and especially my Dad and Mom for going to work every day to make enough money for us to do immensely fun things like water skiing, snow skiing, skating, unicycling and just having a lovely warm house to live in.

Most of all, don’t fret about getting the house clean, getting the beer ready, or forgetting the whip cream. Nobody will be disappointed as long as you all are happy and love each other.

Here is a photo of the beautiful sight I woke up to this morning. It is 34.4 degrees Fahrenheit outside right now, but at 71.8 inside I’m as comfortable as I could ever be. Happy Thanksgiving all, and I hope that no olives get stuck on your fingers.

Have a Fantastic Thanksgiving,

Tyler

Happy Thanksgiving.

I love olives, they’re a holiday treat.

The trick is to steal and eat as many of them as possible before meal time.

edit: Didn’t realize there were already two other TG threads.

Even though I hate olives…

Happy thanksgiving everyone!

Same here, but at least mine is a little bit unique.

I hate olives aswell…

Happy thanksgiving!

happy thanksgiving, yes yes. Although, i hate to admit that this might be the worst turkey i ever had… it was so dry, and the gravy had like no flavor, hope all of you had better T-day’s then me!
