Any clue what THIS is all about?
Looks ominous.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a countdown to something big, round and shiny becoming ‘fully operational’.
Like a new Blu-Ray release?
There is only an hour left.
May the fourth be with you. Always.
I can’t wait. I’m going to go out and buy a BluRay player, a surround sound system, and a HiDef television so I can watch a series of silly movies intentionally produced out of temporal sequence exhibiting aerodynamics in free space, sound where there is no atmosphere, no plot, shallow characters, and the most absurd endings imaginable. Where do I queue up?
I’m next in line sooo i’d guess behind me
wow that sounds AWESOME!!!
Did the original movie premiere on the 4th? I know it came out in May 1977 but don’t know what day. Obviously that site looks like marketing, so I suspect a new box set, only of parts I-III.
If you rule out all science fiction that uses curving spacecraft and sound (effects) in space, I think all you’d have left would be 2001 A Space Odyssey.
And that’ll do, John…that’ll do.
I had noticed the sound and aerodynamics in space too… But you have to admit that they’re pretty accurate about medichlorians, and I work right next to the spitting image of JarJar Bings, so…
I’m glad I’m not alone.
+1
Absurd endings don’t seem to be such an issue, I guess.
Zing!
Were’s Billy when we need a good “OOOoooOOOooo…”
But accurate doesn’t have to be boring. How about Apollo 13? They even had real micro-gravity, possibly the only movie to ever use it for more than a second or two.
