A good birthday, with presents from my kids of unicycle keyrings a “How to ride your unicycle” book (haven’t they been paying attention when I’ve been showing off?) and some VW mags.
The bad news is I’ve broken a spoke on my cheap old uni. It creaks when I ride it now, and I want a new, proper one - but it’s a whole year till my next birthday!
Roll on Christmas…!

As for the buggy - a bout of violent juddering in first has relegated it to the front drive until I can get under it and sort out the clutch cable tube (the juddering was enough to snap off the rear number plate and fire the dipstick into the road!). Joe is still unicycling well - we took the unis to the Norfolk Broads recently and ended up playing “tag” on them. He is much nippier than me! He nearly has the kick up mount, but is too lazy to practise freemounting and will always look for something to hold onto. Tom is now expressing a desire to learn to ride again, so I might bring them both to BUC 13… No more news of venue yet though:(
