It’s a reference to the movie, Trains, Planes, and Automobiles. It’s a comedy with Steve Martin and John Candy and revolves around a man’s attempt to get home for Thanksgiving. It’s very funny, in a wholesome sort of way, and is probably not that popular outside the U.S.
