No need to apologize. Guinness from the can is the way I get most of my Guinness (as measured by quantity). Amazingly convenient those cans. The bottles of Guinness Extra Stout are also nice but a different beer compared to the Draught. All depends on what I’m in the mood for.
I didn’t make it to a pub today either. Went on a muni ride and was too dirty and tired to go to the pub. Instead I had a couple of cans of Guinness Draught. Even had a Guinness float. Vanilla ice cream and Guinness makes a strange combination. Good but not as creamy good as a root beer float made with good root beer.
Guinness at the pubs tends to be my fallback beer if the pub/tavern/bar doesn’t have a good microbrewed beer on tap. If it’s an Irish pub I’ll usually go for the Guinness first unless they have a really good microbrew on tap that really tempts me.
What I really wanted for my birthday was a box with mastery of 1 foot ww and mastery of gliding in it. That would be soooo nice. Sure beats the slow process of actually learning and mastering those skills the slow way.
My goal is to be gliding before I’m old. I’m old when I’m too old to be able to learn how to glide.
