Hope you have a great birthday, and get in both some celebration and some unicycling. You should try to “ride your age”…whether that means 40 minutes, 40 kilometers, or practicing some 40cm hops.
On my 44th birthday I rode 55 miles. I’ve never been great at math…
Enjoy the time with your family and new gecko buddy!
It would overcome that horrible feeling when your birthday comes on a Monday and you’ve still got to drag yourself out of bed at silly o’clock and go to work all day…
At this moment I am waiting for my hubby to come home so I can open the unicycle-shaped pressie in the hall. I have taken tomorrow off work so that I can let my hair down tonight. My thirties were a happy decade, I am sorry to see them go.
It is forcasted to snow tonight. I only remember one other birthday on which it has snowed - about 15yrs ago. But I absolutely need unicycling weather tomorrow.
I’ve just looked at the personal info by my post. It says 40, argh! 40 seemed really old when I was in my 30s but having woken up this morning and not been forced to use a wheelchair or walking stick, I feel much better. Hopefully, I’ve at least a couple of decades of unicycling in me yet.
Happy Birthday Cathy, have a great one! If it snows over the next couple of days then I’ll be out & about on my 26", acting as the mobile snowball target that I inevitably become by doing something so ‘cool’ as unicycle…
Yep. Been outside on Onza’s Little Sister. She’s much better at hopping than her bigger brother. I can actually hop 8cm on her. (now I have a problem though because that’s the highest curb outside my house, I need to find something else to jump onto).
