Happy Birthday guys!!
Here, here!
Or is it Hear, Hear!
Congratulations to both of you.
It’s here, hear!
You two guys are big contributors to the fora in different but very complimentary ways. Have very happy birthdays. Mike, you design a strong, lightweight uni component. Scott, you do a brilliant writeup of a ride today with a quiz. Mix it up a bit.
Happy birthday Mike! (and Scott of course but I only know Mike)
Have a good one - hope you get a ride in and the weather isn’t too grim (it’s not good here at all :()
Rob
Happy Birthday to you both!
I am “here”. I am in Devon at Bratton Clovelly. Last night, 4 of us were just ready to go out for a meal when the phone rang. Ruth’s nephew had hit a flood “at 20 mph” ( ) and the car was up to the door handles in water.
Another motorist - similarly afflicted - managed to get him to a nearby house deep in the woods, where he sat listening to them having a major domestic dispute until we managed to find him and rescue him. Late meal, now for 5, at the pub, with nephew barefoot, and wet-trousered. Police phoned to tell him his car was now afloat!
I shan’t be riding for a while. The rib that I hurt on my fall (“Stunned in the Desert”) is pretty sore.
Thanks to everyone for their birthday wishes though.
Mike
Bummer. Hope you had a good day anyway.
<<Dartmoor Muni Weekend - Last weekend in May 2006
Same again next year anyone? It’ll be dry, I promise. >>
And I shall ride there from Nottingham, non stop, in a pink tutu.
Of course it won’t be dry. But that won’t stop it being wet.
HAPPY bday
thanks Mikefule for inspiring me to muni in the woods; thanks Scott for providing me with a handle for my “trail gazelle”!
