Handstand on Stilts

Dont know if people saw this but ill post it anyway.

My friend Jamie doing a handstand with stilts on.

Ok the post might of Read Handstand on Stilts… Handstand with stilts on!

Trev

I’d like to try stilts like those sometime. I suppose they aren’t too hard to use (I guess). I’ve used regular stilts that aren’t attached to you. I mean those you have use hands to lift them while walking.

These stilts seem to use a muscle we dont use  First time i had ago i was hurting so much just to lift my leg. I like the ones with the handles i can probobly do more on those then these

Trev

have you or your friend ever tried to ride a unicycle with those on, it would look pretty cool but you would need an extra long seat post extension.

I have spring loaded stilts like they used on 2002 MTV awards. They are so much fun

i use durastilts for performances and have long been itching to replace the pedals on my 5ft raffie with really narrow ones so they’ll fit in underneath the footplate
u should then be able to ‘walk onto’ a giraffe and ride away

anyone here ever try it?

I know someone who tried it on a Giraffe with stilts like Trev’s. He ended up with a broken leg. I think it would be sweet to have a giraffe that has a regular unicycle wheel, and 6 feet to the pedals that you ride with stilts, but UPD’s and dismounts are difficult.

i do quite a bit of stilt work my self thoe not hand stands.

What i do, do is roller stilt . Roller blading on stilts not for the faint of heart nor people who dont respect them

i had a friend who has veary good balance try them on i told him not to leave my apartments breez way untill he had praticitced on them for a good while. well after about 10 min he decided that he was good enouf alredy and ventured on tto the side walk. Upon reaching the first crack int the side walk he took one header in to the grass that was luckley wet and soft. the thing about falling on roller stilts as aposed ot a say 6’er is that your straped in second you dont slow down your desent at all. They fall fast and hard do to no fulcrum poing ont the ground. here is a pic if i can get it

i hope sofa is listening, THAT is hardcore
:astonished:

Re: Handstand on Stilts

Last year at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park we saw a stiltwalker who was costumed as a tree and she had stilts on her arms as well as her legs. She did do actual handstands on stilts.

I’m seriously thinking about getting some stilts. My kid has jokingly said she’ll book my space in the emergency room in advance.
