Handspring Visor: BS

Part of my job requires me to write code to synchronize our application
with a PalmOS handheld device. So my boss gave me hi sold Handspring
Visor to use for testing and development.

He didn’t have the installation software/drivers etc, so I went to
handspring.com to get the drivers. But, in order to download any
software, they require you to enter your serial number. Fair enough I
say, where is my serial number?

I look all over the unit and can’t find it anywhere. Luckily enough,
handspring.com shows me how to find the serial number.

Where’s it located? On the back of the battery cover door. Where’s the
battery cover door? Who knows?! My boss lost it!

grrrrr…

Re: Handspring Visor: BS

Open the back, and look for the numbers underneath the sim card. That’s your
serial number.

Do you mean disassemble the unit? (ie: remove screws, etc)

Re: Handspring Visor: BS

Like I said, the serial number is located on the battery cover itself,
and that’s missing. Furthermore, there is no SIM card inside the battery
compartment, and I don’t think there is one anywhere in the device.

Thanks for the tip, though
