I am really wanting to go for grinding a hand rail but then Mike told me to grind on the pedal, is this the best way or can I still stick with grinding on the cranks.
any tips are welcomed

Look at the 16 step grind by mike clark in defect he does it on the pedal. I think its possible to grind on the crank but it doesnt matter if you hit the pedal instead.

it just depends on what type of handrail your doing. i think the main reason people grind on their pedal is when they do round rails there is less chance of jarring up.
