Hacky Sac/Footbagging

Who here does it?
Whether it be kicking a hack around a big groups of friends,
or some freestyle footbagging?

I got into in early fall, and I can’t get enough of it. I hate to say it but I am more addicted to hacky than I ever have been with uni. I freetsyle and play with my friends at least an hour or two everyday.

Any one else here a hack fiend?
And would you count it as a form of juggling?

Chase

I do it. Haven’t in a while though. It’s alot of fun.

Not juggling, theres been some talk of it going on over at the WJF forums lately though.

There are some kids at my school that play it, some of them look pretty good, but I don’t really know much about it.
I’ve tried it, but then realized it’s impossibly hard and gave up.

I attempt to do it. I enjoy the game, but am not really very good.

takraw is an awesome game ive been getting into, fairly similar kinda

Im into it.

My favorite and most used bag is a 18 panel sandmaster. Its so perfect for any style. I even have bought the adidas lavers, cut and modified for better catching.

I havent done it much lately, but I can still do most of the moves, just kinda rusty.

we try it at school recently.

the best in a group of abotu 6 we average about 8 or 9 a round. but we have gotten 52 once and one time 28. but our normal highest is like 13.

I’ve been known to start The Official CMW Group Hack every year with an Alpha or OJ footbag.

I freestyle…i can almost do a butterfly
i have a kanga 32p footbag and just to let you know footbag is the sport and hacky sack is a brand name

I do it…i havent dont it in a while but i like it and it is a lot of fun…I have a few friends that do it to…

The guys in my youth group (myself included) used to spend hours playing, but kind of stopped once the college guys went back to school. I’m still far better than the random guy off the street, but I would need practice to get back into form. You’ve just given me some inspiration in regards to spend my the two hours at church.

Do you play “slaps” (after at leat two hacks by two different people, the next one can jump in at slap it at a person in the circle, said person is out) or just see how long you can keep it going?

There is a group in Memphis that plays “volleyball” with a footbag and of course, their feet.

its called net game

I find hacking a takraw ball much easyer than a footbag but thats my personal prefrence. its great fun and definately helps with foot-eye coordination.

me and my friends like to get retarded high and play with my sandbag. wastes tons of valuable time. its vary entertaining.

i used to play in high school and college all the time… once in a while ill find a game and jump in.

as far as juggling is concerned. I incorporate a couple of kicks and stalls into my routines. so if thats not juggling i dont know what is. i drop balls all the time when i juggle. and i dont always want to bend over and pick them up so sometimes ill kick one up to myself. its a great skill to have.

its a fun game for picnics and what not. as long as youre not a total loser jock that gets mad when people arent “as good as you” you can get anyone to play it usually and its fun.

Actually before i got my unicycle i used to be obsessed with it…i was registered on the forums at www.footbag.org and I checked the forums daily. But I have ditched the site since i bought my unicycle. I still like to kick it around but im not like i was before i bought my unicycle :stuck_out_tongue:

I am decent I am still in the learning proces but it is really fun. I fully modded my lavers with out no major problems that was a awsome. As for me I also work on mixing juggling/footbag and mix it up. I juggle4 drop 1 into 3 then do a dragon fly(I think thats the name) where I brink it back over my should using my foot back into a 4 ball shower. I am working on doing that consistantly one after another needless to say it really hard , but I will get it some time.

Gotta love das hacky sack.
