I don’t think we need guns.
Australia, for example, has very strict restrictions on guns. If I remember correctly, only cops and farmers are allowed to have them; those are really the only people that need them.

I believe guns are banned in Japan, too. They have the lowest (right?) number of murders per year in the world.

then they should ban knives too that would make it so people were bludgeoned to death instead then what bann anything you could hurt someone with, people find ways around things… Anyway I like guns…I used to hunt with them now I use nicotine coated darts and a blowgun… pure nicotine can kill a man fairly quickly and by hunting standards a man is considered large game i think… anyway I like this thread…

I don’t think this world needs guns and it might be a happier place without them…but think of it like this…if we made guns illegal, then only criminals would own guns, and that would make things a bazillion times worse. If bad guys can own guns, then its best for good guys to be allowed to own guns too, so they (we) can defend themselves (ourselves).

there is a very big reason guns are banned in australaia its not coz they just said one day lets be safe and ban guns they waited until some nut called Martin Bryant massacred 30something ppl in tasmania before they brought in the laws

I like guns, we have a few. 2 shotguns a .22 and an air rifle, air pistol, and a derringer. Thats all to my knowledge.
