My I be forgiven, but the new Survivor starts tonight, and if ever there was a guilty pleasure this is it.

i have seen like every good reality show there ever was, and i can name the winners and runners up on every season of survivor. Pretty bi accomplishment i guess…

Rupert should have won.
I missed who won the last one.
I was watching, then I had a shift in work schedule.
The last one just didn’t interest me as much I guess.
Cuz, I could have looked up the last win results.
Happily, no others.
My family eats dinner as a unit, we occasionally have game night together and my daughter and I attend church together, though each is subject to change without prior notification by the management. But there is very little chance of the three of us not all being together on Thursday evening at 8:00.
Growing up I remember desperately rushing to finish my homework so I’d be allowed to watch Laugh-In and then later All in the Family. Those two shows along with Huntly/Brinkley and Cronkite were the ones my family always watched together.
One of my daughter’s best friends watches no TV. They have a unit for watching movies but have no TV service of any kind. During my high school years we had no television, too. (I was valedictorian of my graduating class. 
) It’s a tough gig culturally speaking, but does have advantages, to be sure.
But I ramble on.
Without seeing any of the cast, I’ll be rooting for the civil rights attorney initially. Either her or the Vegas showgirl.

i know im a loser when i say this but i have seen every season except Africa, (GILD knows this and has aready scolded me)
last season was the most boring season ever. i wish they would have it in Alaska or somwhere cold, and why is almost every challenge have to do with swimming?
I’m pleased that you and I share something we can both feel self-loathing about. 
I don’t think the shows ‘camera crew’ would like that to much
Swimming is an essential skill for survival.
The world has got alot of water.
Theres a lot of water around Alaska, alot of it is frozen too
I learned to swim and fish very young.
Those two activities are near the top of my list of things to do when I can

I’ve watched all of the survivors so far… religiously. I though Australia(Number 2) was the best.
Although I would have liked to see Elisabeth Fliarski(now married: Hasselbeck) to win. But She now has her own show on the fashion channel and beats on all them old ladies on the view, so I guess she did win.
YES! They are soooooo good. I dont really like the name though. It seems like they ran out of good names or something. I mean “fast break”? Yeah I’m very guilty of that one.

tonite they gave them a bag of shoes? what is up with that? in the promo’s they said “left with nothing” yeah for about 15 minutes then they find water and a bag of shoes, whatever.
I’m coming out of the survivor closet and saying that I too am a big survivor fan. I actually didn’t start watching them till 2 years ago but been addicited ever since. I really wish I could go back in time and see the first one and all the other’s I didn’t see. I really liked the ALl Stars one, that’s my favorite one so far…for this season I think I’m cheering for Ian that is until he gets voted off…if he gets voted off. I like to guess which one I think is going to win early on, then pick a different person if they get voted off.
Ian needs to loose those goofy looking glasses.
I’m a Survivor too. Another thing JJuggle and I have in common. When will the madness end.

Mmmmm… look at all that stuff-they-call-beef, and liquid-cheese-from-a-tube!
My TV guilty pleasures are stargate SG-1, Arrested Development, and the movie Big Trouble In Little China. All on DVD, i don’t bother w/ cable/satellite/airwave signals – helps avoid getting stuck in front of the TV. I spend too much time on usenet newsgroups.
Food: the kaitan (sushi on little boats) place down the street, the Red Apple Polish buffett in Chicago and (this is gross) menudo at a different Mexican restaurant every sunday, and anything burnt on my Weber gas grill.
My fave-iest thing (besides unicycling, biking and kayaking) is to root around in thrift shops with my girlfriend looking for really good stuff.
However, i detest Survivor and hope that everyone associated with it, cast and crew alike, are kidnapped by southeast asian pirates and sold into involuntary servitude in Yemen.
