A young boy with a fanny pack is indeed quite disturbing. Everyone in the UK is bothered at the mere thought.

Fanny - This is the word for a woman’s front bits! One doesn’t normally talk about anyone’s fanny as it is a bit rude. You certainly don’t have a fanny pack, or smack people on their fannys - you would get arrested for that! Careful use of this word in the UK is advised!

After learning that bit of UK slang I have always been careful to call those packs a bum bag instead.

bohh - You win. It was in fact a skate key for the old adjustable skates that we clamped onto our shoes.

yoopers - You must be really old. Your key looks like it must be 60 years old.

Confession … the pictures I posted were found on the web but I do have a skate key similar to the picture.
