Not quite what I was expecting, but since it was my boss who told me about it, I shouldn’t be too surprised.
That’s a really interesting article. Wouldn’t mind reading the book in question.
I have to say that I’m not sure that unicycling 1000 miles would help break down the stigma. When I tell people I ride just 8 miles to work each day they ask if I’m mad. If anything, a 1000 mile ride would emphasise the fact.

But really, the more exposure there is like this the more unicycling seems like a normal sport. IMO.
