grind plates

when you put grind plates on you pedals do you put it on both sides of the pedal.

Just put it on one side. That way you can still use the pedal like normal when riding.

Yeah, you want the top of the pedals to have as much traction as possible, because you want your feet to stick to the pedals, thus leave it with the pins in and no plate. You want the bottom of the pedals to be as slippery as possible, because you want your pedal to slide on the ledges as far as possible, so put a grind plate on that side.

Another good thing about this setup is that the extra weight of the grind plate on the bottom of the pedal will naturally keep the pedals right side up, so that the pins stay up and the plate stays down. Good luck with them.
