Greetings Unicyclists!

My name is AAron, and I ride the unicycle.

I’ve been enjoying your conversations, as well as hints and tips for a few months now, and I thought the time was right to join the group.
I’ve just started my second semester at the University of Illinois (6th of college), and this one is going to be different, as I am getting around campus by all our favorite means. My Torker 24" is serving me very well so far. I learned to ride it in the spring, and I’ve been steadily increasing my skills since then. I actually did my first rolling mount Wednesday night (when I went riding alongside my roommate who was jogging), and my first face-plant this morning (first attempted rolling mount in the rain, oops!).
At any rate, I’m just saying hi. I’ll be contributing to conversations as best I can, with witty responses where appropriate.

Just to make this into an interesting thread, I thought I’d invoke the following question.
What is the wittiest thing anyone has ever said to you when riding?

Mine was “nice wheels.” I promptly pointed out that it is only one wheel.

Ride well,
-AA

good one! good response too! Welcome to the forums

hi, aaron!!

Welcome AAron!
You’ve definitely come to the right place. We’ve got a couple of average unicyclists here, and one or two of us have ridden unicycles around college campuses, so if you have any questions, someone here might have an okay answer for you.
Looking forward to hearing more from you!
