I recently recieved a Wacom Graphire4 graphics pad as a gift, and love it for it’s many many photoshop capabilities, however, isn’t there a free program that allows me to write using my graphics pad, and then convert the writing into a text format? I know i’ve seen some before, but only on PDA’s and tablets.
I did some googling and can’t seem to type in the write query(Dah dun tchh). Any help?
i am a little tired and am having a hard time figuring out what you are looking to do, but i assume you mean you want to be able to write on your pad and have it show up as text instead of having to type it.
search for wacom graffiti software or something similar to that.
i dont have a program to do it, but i do own a wacom tablet and my freind who i bought it from had a program that did what you are wanting and i think it was called graffiti.
Sorry if this sounds annoying, but when is hand-writing faster than typing? Don’t you need the tablet plugged into a computer for it to work? I imagine your typing speed is pretty good. Sorry, I don’t have any software suggestions for you but I do believe there are products out there. I assume the major keywords to search on are “handwriting recognition.”
Typing is much faster than handwritng, but not nearly as cool, and I think if I am able to just keep scribbling I’ll end up getting things typed up faster. SO far all the programs I have tried recognise my handwriting as mixed sybols with text. I want something good, and free.
I’m trying out JC’s solution right now, hopefully it’s as awesome as it seems.
