Got the Unicycle bug again...

So after almost 2 years not riding… I got back into the game.

I bought a Nimbus 36" yesterday, and rode probably 20km so far on it.

I got a Cateye Enduro 8 computer setup on it.

Cruising speed for me is around 13-15km/h and I did a sprint on a bumpy road which topped out at 23km/h

So far, it’s much more enjoyable and fun than my Torker DX.

Besides, I have a really nice Trials Bike now to ride Trials on.

I’ll put a good word out on here for Pete at Municycle.ca, he’s a good guy to deal with :slight_smile:

Oh, I moved across the country… I moved from Hamilton, Ontario, out to Calgary, Alberta. So if there is any local riders, it would be nice to meet up for a ride some time. I met one kid a few months ago at Canada Olympic Park and rode his Muni, and another kid on a bike trials ride, so I know you guys are out there.

Yeah, Pete’s a nice guy and great to deal with. There are a few Calgarians on here but I’ve never actually met any of them…
You can also look up “unifreaks” on Facebook - but they’re a pretty quiet bunch.

Fusion Freeride seat is so much more comfy than the old KH seat I’m used to.

Hopefully I can find a riding buddy, or just get a friend to tag along on a bike.

I picked mine up last thursday, this was the second commute : ) Kinda funny to ride a unicycle to a juggling club ; )
