Google is really annoying me now - especially the ‘Image Search’.
The bloody site throws up really cool pics, but many of the websites have moved or changed, which means it cannot find the actual pic, just the stupid little thumbnail!
Grrrr!!!
Anyone else have this trouble, or is it just me?!

I can’t say I’ve used the image search much, but the thing that really gets my goat…
…when all your search finds is lots of other stupid little search engines using the same terms you were looking for. Absolutely no use in the slightest, but quite often they form the majority of the results.

I was looking for mp3 players the other week, and most of the results were for other search engines. Sometimes there werent even search engines. I tend to get directories with links to everything but what you want! Car insurance is the worst!

Stop using dumb ol’ google. Use Altavista instead! It’s like a billion times better, not only can you search for sites and images, but also audio and video files!! It’s so awesome.
EDIT does anyone know where Google came from? Like, who made it? It just appeared one day, or, it was always there…

Google was first known as BackRub back in 1996, it was created by two Stanford University students, Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
It didn’t become Google until 1998, I think…
It started in a dorm, then upgraded to a garage and added a third to the project, the owner of the garage. (This was in Menlo Park, California)

Yes, i have that all the time…drives me nuts, you end up seeing way too many error pages (mind you i have come across some original “page cannot be found” ones, but still…)
