Just dropping in one last time to say goodbye. On Saturday a good friend and I are flying to Vietnam to start our epic overland Asia bike tour- It looks as though we will be on the road for about a year cycling through Asia (generally in a Western direction) hopefully ending up in Turkey about this time next year. That means i will be out of the unicycling game for a while- but i will most likely get back into it once I return (although I have been fighting the itch to get a proper XC bike and have a season of racing in the Australian Enduro MTB series). We’ll have to wait and see.
Thanks for all the good discussion/ arguments over the last 10 years or so. I have been lucky to see this sport come so far in this last decade and I think it is largely due to these forums and the people who want to share their experiences, adventures and love of this great sport. Keep on doing what you do and i’ll catch you all down the (single)track!
Cheers Folks! I fly out tomorrow- thanks for all the well wishing. We won’t be keeping a blog (too much work and detracts from the experience keeping it up to date) but i will probably be using facebook to keep people in the loop as to what is happening. Feel free to add me if you want to know whats going on.
Mark Lavis signing out! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaa
I know you probably wont see my post since you are already logged out, but I’m still going to post something for you
Anyways, it was awesome meeting you for the first time at Unicon in Italy, I had great time with you. You motivated me alot for my races at Unicon since Benoit told me you were a beast. I tried to do faster than you, I was close but I didn’t manage to do it! Have a great trip, I hope to see you again on the unicycle sometimes!
