Ok, I’m surfing the net and suddenly a anyoying little pop-up appears! 
Does any body know of any good free pop- up blocker?
I use Firefox and practically never get pop-ups.
I use google toolbar, and I never get pop-ups.
Also, with windows XP, it comes with its own pop-up blocker, which isnt too bad, just annoying from the alerts and sounds. Disable the alerts and sounds and your good.
I’m using the xp one and it is useless

Firefox is an excellent solution, it’s so good I can’t even remember what a pop-up looks like anymore.
IE 7 has a good popup blocker
Yeah, it can get a few of them, but it really isnt great. lol
If you search on google you can find a lot of them for free, and they are small file sizes, so you can test them out easily if you ever need to.

I’m always really sceptical of pop up blockers and toolbars as alot of them are actualy chock full of adware. This is why I love my firefox in all its ram sucking glory.
The google toolbar has brought no adware or spyware any junk like that onto my computer.
Getting pop-up blockers is what can get you. lol
i use opera and everytime anything trys to pop up a little thingy comes up saying somethings tried to pop up and that it, fantastic.
The whole point about adware is that you’d never know if you have it. Having said that, I’m sure google is legit, but I certainly wouldn’t download alot of the free apllications available online.
