Chicksands is good - if you’re near there than it’s well worth going to. I think Edd goes there quite a lot. Probably worth PMing him (eddbmxdude) - he probably knows other stuff around that area.
Not so local to you, but the big xc bike trails in north Wales are fantastic to ride (around Betws-y-Coed, south of Snowdonia), the Peaks has some nice tracks, Quantocks is riddled with them, Dartmoor’s not bad either…
