wow i havent played in about a year, great thread though.
umm, my clubs are fairly mixed as of now, But last time i checked i shooting about 82 to 85. But i havent played in so long, so dont hold me to that now haha.
I used to enjoy watching the golf on TV purely for the commentary of Peter Allis.
Now it seems whenever it’s on the box all I can hear are people shouting “GET IN THE HOLE!” as soon as a shot is taken.
Which kinda puts me off.
Not to mention the players I bet.
I played about 2 weeks ago and shot a 90, my best being an 87… Im not all that great.
About a month ago, I got a set of tommy armour irons, a tommy armour putter, and a sick max-Fli ( Taylor Made ) Driver. I have two wedges, one of which I had when I was 9, and it is VERY light weight… I perfer that one over my other one… It is almost perfect for me, although it was meant for like… 12 year olds… lol.
My dream as a kid was to turn pro. I got pretty good and won a few tournaments, and got to be a scratch golfer. I haven’t picked up a club in years!

Next year I want to participate in a tournament.

Um…Tiger Woods is really rich, 'n stuff.
I remember this TV segment from the 70’s when he was TWO years old! It’s pretty funny how he was so intent on sinking the put! Bob Hope loved it!
Wow. Tiger pulls off another huge win! That’s 14 majors now. Only Nicklaus has more total majors-18. But Woods is only 32! No doubt he will go down in history as the greatest golfer of all time…so far anyway! It’s also worth noting that Woods has acheived this amazing record in just 11 years-1997-2008, while it took Nicklaus 24 years to win his 18 majors, 1962-1986

Golf isn’t the same with him not playing.
I’m out the door for my first round of the year. Fortunately it’s a best ball scramble tournement. Sponsors at each hole means lots of free balls.
I’m also a scratch golfer. I scratch my way all around the course.
I like to get my money’s worth. If greens fees are $36, and you shoot par at 72, it cost you 50 cents a stroke. The way I play, it only costs me about 10 cents a stroke.
