Sunday July 9, 1995 marked the first meeting of the GOLD COUNTRY UNICYCLISTS!
Sorry for shouting, but we’re happy to have a new unicycle group in Northern
California. Three members of the Unicycling Mail List were there, at the home of
Patty Snyder in Meadow Vista, which is in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, along
Interstate 80.
Patty is a clown performer and unicyclist, and invited all of us to come to her
house, which has large paved areas both in front and in back. Four unicycle
newbies also tried their hand, and at least two of them will stick with it until
they learn.
So far, we are all adults, ranging in age from about 25 to about 60, but we
will be open to riders of all ages. If you are interested in joining us, you
can email me, or call Patty Snyder for directions at (916) 624-4417. Call
before 11:00 pm.
Our next meeting will be this Sunday, July 16, at 6:00 pm.
We need to hear from you if Meadow Vista is too far for you. I want to start a
group closer to Sacramento, and this will happen as soon as we have some people.
Where are you?
Looking forward to seeing all of you Sunday,
John Foss, the Uni-Cyclone unicycle@aol.com
