This week I’m going on vacation (in fact we are leaving in 20 minutes) to Utah. So, when I get back I am going to look at this thread and see what everyone has said, but I don’t want anything related to vacation. It has to be stuff about me such as quotes, quirks, funny stuff like that. Have a good time and I can’t wait to see what you wrote when I get back!!! Aloha!
I’m talking on MSN to my friend from Missoula, and he’s getting ready to leave to come to Moscow on vacation to visit some friends. oh, he’s gone, on vacation.
I bet Tyler’s mom is still doing some last minute packing (possibly on behalf of some other member of the family). And Tyler is still reading this thread…
Hurry up! You are going to be late! Don’t miss your plane/train/bus/taxi/limo/boat/ship/dirigible (or combinations – limo/plane, taxi/bus, …)
Did you remember to unplug the _______ and lock the ______ and put away the ______? Did you remember that thing you were trying not to forget to do before you left? Did you pack your toothbrush?
It’s funny you should mention that. I went on holiday on a aero-train-bus-taxi-limo-boat-ship-dirigible-mobile. You wouldn’t believe how long it took to get the blummin’ thing started.
You know, Tyler asked that nothing vacation related be written in this thread. It reminds me of how we used to get rid of old office chairs at a former employer of mine. We’d put the chair down in the hall by the employee entrance with a sign on it that read, “Do not take.”
In the Laser Research department of the place I used to work at there was a corridor with a big, red, flashing button on the wall, surrounded by yellow and red chevrons and with a big sign above it saying DO NOT PRESS. Walking past it twice every day was possibly the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do…
Also implied in Tyler’s request was NOT to talk about chairs (at least that’s how I read it).
Hey Phil, what happens when the button is pressed? (Tyler mentioned nothing about buttons, although we should really start answering this thread the way he intended, but we have a few days before he gets back).
