That’s stupid. Goats don’t like getting pet by strangers. They are really, really nervous around people they do know. Would you like a total stranger to pet you?? Anyway, it was just trying to scare you away, not hurt you. Finally, why did you make a thread about it? Are you proud of it??

It’s not just goats that do this, it is actually common in the animal world. When’s the last time you have successfully petted a bear? If I ever see you remind me to beat you up before you try to pet me then punch me in the face.

P.S. In case you don’t recognize sarcasm, I’m saying, that as a person, you should have the ability to reason, and see that the goat posed no real threat. It may have hurt you, but it doesn’t have the ability to reason, or see that you weren’t initially posing a threat to it.
