I thought there was an unlimited transfer limit on these, but it looks as though it’s a 10mb transfer limit.
It is still in beta and by invite only. once you get an invite, you will be sent an additional invite to for a friend in a week, that’s how they are going to test it as it’s user base increases before they release it to the public

I’m the accidental owner of municycle@gmail.com. I submitted the form by mistake while checking the availability of various unicycle related names. It’s an OK name, but not what I would have chosen. I may give it away when I get a new account.
Does Gmail have any way of alerting you when you get a new message? What I really like about Hotmail is the way it integrates with Outlook Express. Outlook Express will poll my Hotmail account and let me know when I get a new message. It’s the killer feature for Hotmail.
Does Google have any kind of an add-on for their toolbar that will let you know when you get a new Gmail message? A little program that lives in the tray area of the task bar and alerts you to new mail would also be cool.
