Girl Scouts vs. Boy Scouts

Which is better: Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts?

Boy Scouts teach homophobia, but according to Raphael, Girl Scouts fund abortions:

There may be other ways they differ… [And it’s possible Raphael forgot a smilie…]

Which is better?

Does either one teach grammar? Which are better, Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts? Which is better, the Girl scouts or the Boy scouts?

Harper! I knew you was Missus Ayelery!!!

i say girl scouts because they teach stuff boy scouts might not
(I AM A GIRL SCOUT)

Well boy scouts teahc things that girl scouts may not…

But i think they are equal, they both strive for the same goal. They teach kids how to get along and show em some other cool stuff along the way.

Okay, let’s drop the namby-pamby debate over fundamentals and get real. Let’s drop a troop of girl scouts and a troop of boy scouts on a deserted island and see who survives longer. Even better, put 'em both in an arena and have 'em duke it out in a cage match. If that doesn’t answer your question, BTM, then obviously you’re asking the wrong question.

i think she forgot a smilie, no crap they teach different stuff

Acctually i think maestro had a great suggestion…Lets do that!

Not Christian… you just have to believe in A god, whether Jewish, Christian, Muslim, or miscelaneous (and I know that my 3 religions all worship the same God ;))

Not entirely related - but why do boy scouts now wear bright blue uniforms? It was grey or green in my day…

my troop wears tan… so do all the others I’ve seen.

I think the little types wear blue, maybe.

they’re both nazi recruting centers.
i know from experience (at leas with the Boy Scouts.)

nazi? not really, but I can see where you’re coming from. Boy scouts mostly sucks, except for the camping.

In Boy Scouts, I learned how to drink beer, sharpen a knife, tie a noose, start a fire with flint & steel or two sticks, make a bigger fire with gasoline, and take care of my feet on long hikes. All important life skills.

But from a Girl Scout, I learned that mummy bags can zip together. Revelation! Over the last couple decades, that’s been a more useful life skill than any of the ones I learned from Boy Scouts. Well, maybe drinking beer and taking care of the feet run a close second. And the gasoline thing has come in handy too…

since in arabic “scout” means “shut up”
who are the best for that: girls or boys?

Another nice Boy Scout seduced by a lascivious Girl Scout!

AHA!!! Another nice Boy Scout seduced by a lascivious Girl Scout! What ELSE are they teaching those girlz??!

This is a troubling issue for me.

I myelf never was able to be a girl scout. As brownies we had a list of chores to complete before we could get our green sashes adn become girlscouts. The list included making one’s bed for 3 weeks straight. I saw no utility in this whatsoever, and refused to do so. My mom refused to sign off on the list and so I was never allowed to be a girlscout. So I’m not so keen on the girlscouts.

Three boy scouts came a knockin’ at my door last year selling something to raise money for a trip. I politely explained that I could not support their organization because of their stance on homosexuality. I wished them well and sent them off. That night my front steps and sidewalk were vandalized with some kind of brown-orange residue that took the whole summer to wash off with words like FAG, LESBO, HOMO, etc.

So I’m not so keen on what every the boyscouts are teaching, standing for either.

Bear will not be a part of either organization, although I plan to go camping and teach him some survival skills with frequent outings with some of his friends as he grows up.

i liked the camping, but otherwise it was not my thing.
the survival skills are very useful… and i actually got camp record by starting fire with flint and steel in 45 seconds flat!

I feel sorry for boy scouts because they have to sell popcorn that anyone can go home and make where as girl scouts sell cookies that you can only get from them(I’m pretty sure) and that everyone likes.
