It’s actually easierthan the “1-2-3” method. It is definitely not as hard as it
looks, esp. if the giraffe is not a very tall one, say five to six feet.

The method of doing this was described in some old OOW issue, I believe, but I
don’t have the info handy. Andy?

Has anyone got any advice or info on how to learn to running jump mount a
giraffe? I have seen it done and must say that it ranks way up there in terms
of the “WOW” factor. Is it as hard as it looks? I have no problems free
mounting a giraffe.

For those who don’t know what I’m talking about the effect is somewhere
between a normal free mount and a pole vault. The rider holds the seat of the
giraffe, runs and jumps, somehow ending up with both feet on the pedals,
sitting on the seat and thanks to momentum (or something) is catapulted into
an upright position.
