How exactly do I get the seat out front for hopping and so on? Do I need to be able to ride seat out or what?
being able to ride seat out definately helps for ballance but it isnt nessesary. wht i do is do a regular seat in stall, stand up as high as i can on the pedals then just pull the seat out(you may have to lower your seat) then getting it back in i do the same but backwards. its really quite simple.

At the beginning, I used to push the seat as hard as I can against my body(for Seat out riding). After it get´s easier to ride Seat out (if you can ride Seat out, that the Seat don´t touches your body), I just started hopping and it worked.
remember that holding the front of the seat isn’t enough to gain the right leverage for jumping. once you pull it out, quickly swap the position of your hand so it’s grabbing it in the middle, from one side.
