How do you upload a pic from a Digicam? Kodak Easyshare if it matters. I use to be able to plug it in then go to My Computer and click E:, then we got our computer cleaned out and now when I plug it in the computer makes noises like its working then the E: thing doesn’t pop up. Its connected through a USB cable.
Also how do you attach a pic in a post? Is it some sort of source code? Thanks.

i dont know if i have a kodac easy share but i have this unit called skan dics which takes the memory card and creates its own drive 
i cant really tell what the cord is pluged into ill take you a picture of my two headed beast behind it

And download the software again. 
Some times that happens to me. Try unplugging and replugging the usp cord that normally works for me.
You can attach am image file to the unicyclist.com server or if its hosted already just link it to viewed in the post. To attach a file you just look down the screen a little while in the posting screen. It says attach file and just hit browse and find the file and post. The other way is to do a linking one which I’ll try to show you. [img.] then the url and then [/img.] just with out periods and then you got your picture and should display. You can only attach/link files that have the size 800x800 or smaller. Also only jpg and gif will display if its a different file it will have to be down loaded by the person wanting to see it or just not show at all.

NICE!!! I’m getting good. I was afraid I was going to get that all done, post and then see you posted before me like what has happend before. How was the explantaion bytheway?
I’ve been using Googles Picasa recentlly for uploading my pictures, they have a tweak feature that works well and saves me some time doing it by hand in photoshop. They also have a feature that allows you to send photo’s to others through your gmail account in no time at all.
Its deffenatlly worth checking out.
DigitalDave got it covered with the suggestion to reinstall the software. That should get the automatic picture downloading features working again.
The description for adding a picture to a post is all good. I’d only add links to two previous threads on the subject: Adding a photo and multiple images in one post?.
I already installed the software right off the disk. Is there something else that has to be installed? The computer won’t even recognise that the camera is connected. I already tried the plug thing lots as Tim suggested. Tim do you do it in a certain order like plug into comp, plug into camera, turn on etc.?
Also which method of picture adding puts it directly in your post? And from your computer.

Sometimes reinstalling the software will fix settings that have been accidentally changed or files that have been accidentally modified. Just reinstall the software over the existing version (install it in the same directory it already is). With luck that will get the software working the way that it was working before.
Using the “Attach file” option will add a single photo at the end of your post. It’s the easiest way to do it and the most foolproof. But the picture has to be resized to be 800x800 or smaller. The picture also needs to be a JPG for it to be automatically displayed.

You are a god. It worked I had to reinstall it twice and download a bunch of junk, but I got through it. Now is there anyway to like upload entire folders to the gallery instead of pic by pic. I can do ten at a time sort of.
