I lost my father to cancer 18 months ago, and I know JRM just lost his, and
it sucks . . .
I just learned that my mother has lung cancer. No prognosis yet, but they
are doing a biopsy tomorrow.
Please pray for her if that is your belief, as it is mine.

I’m so sorry John.
Just remember don’t leave anything unsaid.
Don’t know if it’s worth anything but my dad had a pretty productive 2 years
after he found out. He really wasn’t more than uncomfortable except for
the last day, and then they had enough morphine in him he never knew. He
even was hiking (with one lung) in the mountains a month before he died.
