Getting a first Uni

I’m interested in buying a Torker Lx 24" as my first unicycle. My inseam is about 28"-29". If I buy it from an online store (such as ebay or amazon), will I be able to ride it straight out of the box? I don’t think I will be able to cut it. If not, what are some good alternative unicycles? Thanks in advance.

I’d recommend not getting a Torker.

I’d go for something like this or this. Most people learn to ride on a 20", and it is a good size for learning tricks. The 24" is faster and better for Mountain Unicycling (MUni). If your the kind of person that does what you set your mind to, and are pretty sure you’ll have the determination to learn how to ride, it is worth the extra money. Also, it is a good idea to upgrade the cranks to KH ISIS, 125 or 137mm for the 20" and 150mm for the 24".

Alright, thanks for the help.
