I am doing a presentation on german entertainment and need some things from germany, what are some new movies, what are some popular cartoons, what are some popular television shows, any help here would be hot. thanks

Variety theater is very popular in Germany and there is at least one in each of the major cities. Putting something in about this might be a nice alternative to the usual popular culture stuff, e.g. movies, TV, etc. The Euorpean circus arts magazine, Kaskade (www.kaskade.de) often covers goings on in this area.
