G'Day im new, i also have a question

Hey guys… aussie from down under here getting into the spirit.
I got my first uni off ebay and typical ebayians, the wheel buckled a few days later.

anyways… i currently have an 18" wheel but im planning on extending the forks another 2" and just under the seat another 2" higher. then i will be able to put a maxxi tyre on it and also fit me a bit better…
so…
has anyone ever tries this before?

Hawo ScottyD, my name is Harry (a.k.a Hazmat) Let me be the 1st to welcome you to the forums.

1stly don’t you mean 19" tyre??? If you don’t fair enough.
2ndlyi would say that i don’t anyone who has tried your technique but it is different, i’ll give you that.

Sounds like it would work. But if you want a great, durable learning unicycle. Get the Torker Unistar LX 20-inch. That one’s wheel wont buckle the first few weeks.

Welcome to the forums!

Hello, and welcome.

I reccomend that you get an LX like Poseidon said. If you get that it will last you longer and when you get a bit better it will allow you to do bigger drops than a normal learner would.

Brad.

Hey man. As I said some where else, nice avatar. except i dislike Collingwood. I’m a Richmond man.

Welcome.

I recommend this if you have the money.

I 2nd that.
