I did a search for a thread like this and found nothing, and I’m always seeing new threads about videos people find that they like to share with others, so here we go.

I recently found this video about making the world a better place that inspired me, and I’m sure Mikael will like it too. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hope this doesn’t sound to harsh, but I created a thread like this once, under my habbywall name, I’m pretty sure that yoopers has done one too. hopefully this one stays though. Now we just gotta see if Gilby can change the settings so that we can embed the videos in this thread.

This rendition of the basin street blues has a pretty freaking awesome video, not to mention you can barely tell where the scratching starts and the horns stop.

that’s awful on so many levels. So when he punches the moster it knocks it back but when he pelts it with a huge rock it doesnt even move? And it can’t overpower him when they’re locked together, but it can pick up an enormous rock? i’m not even going to mention the acting

Just for everyone’s information…

If there is a video on YouTube that you want to download onto your computer so you can play it locally (and KEEP it, because sometimes things disappear off the Internet), you can do this:

  1. install FLV Player. You can get it from download.com

  2. download the videos as follows –

  • go to the YouTube page that plays the video that you want
  • copy the URL from the address bar of the browser
  • go to http://www.keepvid.com
  • paste the URL into the box and press the download button
  • the page updates (quickly) and displays [B][U]>> Download Link <<[/U][/B]
  • click the link to download and save the video file (if it doesn't save with a nice name, give it one) (it must end in .flv in order to play easily)
  • double-click the file to play with FLV Player (you can size the window to play it larger)

Or you can get a firefox plugin called VideoDownloader 1.1.1 and it does the same with one click of a button in yout toolbar.
