Gallery of places to ride

Say some unicyclists unfamiliar with your area come to visit you. You want to take them on the coolest ride possible, right? So where do you take them?

Post your favorite places to ride here!

-Give the location (e.g., place name, city, etc)
-Say whether it’s distance, trials, MUni, etc. riding
-Provide a description of the highlights and post a picture if you have one. (Extra points for pictures of spills.)
-Tell how often you get to ride there, and other stuff like that.
-Provide links if you have any (e.g., a web site, directions, maps, etc.).

-One place to ride = one post.
-Post several times to describe several good places to ride.

University of Idaho Campus, Moscow ID

like any college campus, this place is BRILLiant for riding on. trials/street, of course… but there are trials lines there that I wasn’t able to do when I first started riding, and now I can do them without thinking about it, and there’s trials lines that Kris Holm might have trouble with. So clearly, there’s something for everyone.

then for distance/road riding…
there’s a TON of good roads around Moscow… to name a few:
Trail Road
Darby Road
Crumarine Loop
8-Mile Loop
Chipman Trail

I mainly use those for running of course, but I’ve done Darby, Trail Road, and the 8-Mile on my Coker before. And I want to do the Chipman Trail, connects Moscow to Pullman and it’s 16 miles round trip.

One of my usual practise spots. A mall that I can use certain hours after closing hours. The perfect floor, smooth and flat, daily cleaned, nobody around except for security (no not my bodyguards), not cold in winters, and always dry.
I will be foreever thankfull to the owner-commision members who’d gaved me permission to use it (for free! -including radio and light-)!

When you visit, we ride here:

Olympic Horse Park in Conyers, GA just outside of Atlanta.

Mostly for MUni, although might be fun for trials. Olympic MB races were held here.

The granite is great, and very tough to ride. Wicked hills – on both granite and trails.

New ramps and stuff last time I was there. I’ve been there 4 times this year.
