Gallery Login Issues

I really hate to start a thread about a problem that should be realatively easy to solve, but here goes:

My problem is I can’t login to the gallery section of unicyclist.com. The main reason I want to do this is because I’d like to start taking some pictures of my uniing (and especially of my new MUni which I’m picking up tomorrow); I can’t do this if I can’t login and create a gallery.

Hoping it might be a glitch, I have tried for three days, using the login and password that works for the forums on a daily basis. I haven’t ever tried to login to the gallery section before this (I’ve had my account since the end of November) and am not sure if this and/or the latest modifications to the gallery are playing some role.

I sent a personal message to Gilby a few days ago, but I can only imagine he has a few more pressing things to occupy his time than one user’s inability to login (so that’s why I’m hoping I might be able to get an answer out of the “unoccupied” masses – sidenote: why is it that it is so darn easy to find time to post on RSU?).

Has anyone experienced a similar problem, recently or in the past? Any suggestions for solutions? I thought of creating a new user, but there are enough dead accounts as it is and I’d really like to have any pictures I post linked with the account I actually use.

I am having the exact same problem. I too have not tried to use the gallery until a few days ago. When I tried to login I was getting a message of incorrect password, today it doesn’t even do that. I am sure Gilby is working on it, but I haven’t heard back from him since I emailed him yesterday.

It’s a known problem and I’m working on it… apparently during the gallery upgrade users that did not have albums created already no longer appear in the user database for the gallery.

It should now be fixed. Let me know if you have any other problems.

It is still giving me the “Invalid username or password” message.

Okay, it works.
Apparently the username is case sensitive for the gallery, but isn’t on the home page login.
