A guy called Scott Mills (i believe one of his Take Away games has been posted on here before) does stuff like this on his radio show here in the UK, he gets people who suspect thier partner is cheating on them to explain the situation, he then rings the partner and does exactly the same roses routine. Pretty often gets a result, although since the original caller has an inclung of whats going on its usually much more embarrasing for the person, with his (now ex) girl/boyfriend laughing at him for being so stupid.
