Fullerton Uni’s next meet up is scheduled for October 26, 2013 at Aliso & Woods Canyon Wilderness Park, 28373 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Niguel, California 92677. (949) 923-2200. Departure time will be 8:00 am. This trail was chosen as it is suitable for all levels of riders. The Dripping Cave & Cave Rock ( google these trails for images) trails are excellent for beginners and is even paved for 1/3 of the way, while other trails in the park present more of a challenge for the advanced riders.
We look forward to your attendance & should you know of anyone who rides please inform them & bring them along.
There some great trails at Aliso Woods, including “Rockit”, “Lynx” and several others. Best place for parking and meetups is at the bottom of Canyon Vistas rd, next to the park entrance. We used to organize group rides with the OC uni club, and we always had a blast. Although you can’t change it now, I would have suggested a more accurate title for your thread, since “Fullerton uni meetup” would imply the meetup is there, and not Aliso Viejo.

I don’t find the title misleading and it doesn’t say “Fullerton uni meetup”, it says “Fullerton Uni meetup”, which refers to the Fullerton Unicycle Club now in the process of being established.
Thank you for the input. I’m new at this and can use all the help I can get. It is my desire to establish a club/group which endures & caters to all levels of riders. I hope the beginners eventually become advanced. From what I see several groups start and then die out after awhile. The name of the group is “Fullerton Uni” as I live in Fullerton. Didn’t think much about the name being confusing until now.
I hope to have a ride once a month at different locations, with the Fullerton Loop being a venue often revisited. Should the group get stronger I would like to eventually have some overnights. We have had one ride in Fullerton and this next one in Aliso, looking to go north of Fullerton in November. Any input about trails & starting points would be greatly appreciated as I am certain you are more knowledgeable than I regarding these matters.
As for the starting point in Aliso, I simply checked on line and of coarse the Park address/Ranger station came up and set same without knowing any better. I feel it is to late to change the starting point now as I send out e-mails & notices to everyone I can locate that has ever looked at a unicycle.
Again any & all input you have IS greatly appreciated. This will only work if we can get every unicycle rider behind us. I suspect you are heading for Napa this weekend and trust you will have an excellent time.
I will hopefully see you out on the trails. I really only want to ride Cholla and Rock-it so I will probably start at the Canyon Vistas enterance. Looks to be nice weather, have a great ride.
