From WW back to pedals

Someone I know has become reasonably good at wheel walking but she
can’t get her feet back to the pedals because she doesn’t know their
orientation/position. How is this done normally? Look down to see
where they are? Or just flail around with your feet (one or both
simultanously?) until you hit a pedal?

PS I’m not yet into WW myself but I passed my level 2 today, finally!
It was the dreaded other foot mount that kept me off it for long.

Congratulations on level two. Beatrice will be knighting you soon. I know what you mean by that other foot mount. That was a killer for me, too. Good luck on three!

Klaas -

I recently learned to WW. I like to look down at my feet until the pedals are in a good position to get back on. I prefer the cranks to be vertical with the right one down when I get back on. I'm not sure if this is ideal, but it works for me.
