Freeride MTB on front page of Oregonian newspaper

I’m down in Oregon today to visit my brother. Looked at The Oregonian in a newspaper stand and saw a photo of a freeride bike flying across a gap jump with a light dusting of snow. They have an article about the local freeride trails in Falls City Oregon. Info about the trails is on the Blackrock Freeride Association web site along with some background info about The Oregonian article.

Cool stuff. They don’t have photo online but the article is. I hope the link works.

I’ve been out there to ride a few times with Jagur. Fun trails for muni. You can’t do the gap jumps on a muni but they have plenty of other stunts and features to keep a unicyclist entertained.

I’ve been debating with myself whether to go to Moab this year or the juggling & unicycling event in Corvallis the following weekend. If I decide on Corvallis it will be because I want to go riding in Falls City. Right not it looks like I’m going to go to Corvallis instead of Moab.
