Hey guys, i’m selling a 1993 Epiphone Firebird Guitar, Cardinal red, extremely great condition. Plays fantastically, great range of tone you can get out of it. Electronics are in excellent condition, so is everything else. Small chip on neck, but its barely noticeable at all (see picture). Its a really really nice guitar. Strap not included, and i’ll give the guitar a shine before i send it. Comes with hard shell case. I had the guitar priced at a guitar shop at around $525-$550 (the most it can be valued at about), because it was in such great condition, but i’m selling it for $500 USD.
I’m also selling a Digitech Whammy Pedal. Great condition also, never found a need to use it that much. Mainly just changes octaves, lots of options though. Jack White of the White Stripes uses the same pedal. This thing is really durable. Selling for $180, normally $250 retail, and i bought it for $200.
Shoot me a PM or post here if your interested. Cashiers check probably is preferred method of payment, but i might be flexible.
thanks,
-Graham
I posted this in JC because its not unicycle related.
Edit: sorry if the last picture doesnt load, but its in great condition either way.
NOTE: i reserve the right to refuse sale. My parents might not consent to selling it.
Even when something is bought, brand new from the store, still in the box, then gets sold again through ebay or craigslist, the value goes down.
And for me, im pretty picky, so as soon as somethings been used, even just by being touched once, im gonna go for half price or as close as I can get to it.
What you need and what you’re offering are two different things.
If I need $1000 but only have $500 worth of goods or services, I’m only entitled to $500.
If I have $500 worth of goods, but offer to deliver it, install it and train you on using it, I “may” be able to convince you that I’m adding $500’s worth of added-value to the transaction.
But to jack up the price, hoping to catch a buyer unaware, just because you ‘need’ $500? From each according to his need, to each according to his need?
There’s a name for that.
i never jacked the price up. I’m selling it for as much as i bought it for, which is under what its been priced at under my ownership not too long ago at a guitar shop.
If i were to be looking for this guitar and i had the two choices this used for 500 or a brand new one for 500, i would have to buy the new one. It would be in perfect condition and wouldnt have scratches or duct tape on it.
I’ve played the guitar for 15 years and have only had one electric, whats the ductape for?
-is it for the strap popping off? why not use straplocks and save the finish from the glue if thats the case (i’m only guessing here, I hardly ever play electric I was taught classical and have all acoustics)
