Are the plates rusted?
How well do those plates work for hopping, since the difference between the bottom of the plate and the bolt is so great.

Yeah but it’s only on the surface I just cleaned it and it’s fine. I’ll post a pic later to show it cleaned up.

For hopping you could attach a “mini plate” to the axle and bolt it on. I think somebody did that already and it works great and can be adjusted. Besides a mini plate is better than using just a sharp small bolt to hop with imo.

Well it turns out that the hub of this BC is cooked. The bearings are rusted and it just doesn’t spin well. I tried to take it apart to inspect it and the bearings fell ot and I don’t know how to fix it, if it’s even fixable. And to me it wouldn’t be worth it to have my lbs try to repair it, since after paying for the repair I’d never make the money back.
So I am now just selling the Plates, which are in great condition and I’ve done a nice camo-scheme on them. I think $30 for the pair is fair. Hey, I rhymed! See the pics.

The hub and axle are actually perfectly fine; it’s that the bearings were not allowing the wheel to spin smoothly due to dirt and/or some rust. The bearings in these wheels are “loose” and can just be replaced. I will leave that to whoever might buy it and have reduced the price to just $40 plus actual shipping to US only. I bought the plates alone for $45. The wheel, tire and spokes are fine, as is the axle and hub, so just the bearings need replacing.

Yeah. Gone. But I have another BC also with the same EB plates, and in perfect condition. Not sure if I’ll sell that one though.
