Who here footbags/hacksacks. I’ve been doing it a lot at where I work in my free time with my friends.

I like to hack every so often…Im not that good but in my kicking circle its not about being good its about havin a good time.

My record of consecutive hits is 1,284, I haven’t done it in a while and now its around 500ish.
I have a huge collection of footbags, glow-in-the-dark, designs, panels, tons, my favorite ones are the sand masters, there are 4 panels, 8s, and 12s that I mainly use. I think my favorite is the 8 paneled.
Trick wise, I can do tons, basic stuff, and lots of harder variations. I don’t know most of the names, but I have a dvd with a lot of tricks on it so I can look them up on that.
Also, their is a shoe modification you can do to most shows, that create a pocket on the toe of the shoe, which makes tricks like pendulums way easier to pull off, and it just makes stall very easy, but with sandbags, they pretty much stall themselves.
The main thing I love about it, is the fact not many people stick with it, I have seen it become a fad where everyone would do it, and just do big hacky circles, but it would fad away, and next year it comes back, then fades, I have been doing it for about 7 years now and have never stop, its a great thing to do for fun and past the time, specially with fast pace metal or techno. =p It is also a great for endurance and coordination, hoping, spinning, legs going under, kicking blindly behind you, its pretty tough to keep it all going without good coordination and stamina, specially now that is summer.
I got my hackysack took and the teccher told me she would give it back and I asked her about it and she said she had lost it. it was brand new and my P.E. teacher said i could have it out and the teacher took it any ways. good thing I have a lot of them
I carry my OJ footbag everywhere. Everyone who was at last year’s CMW saw it . I love the thing, perfect for buttery stalls.
3 years ago, i went into my basement and found a hackysack left by the previous homeowners. i spent all night and well into the next day trying to use it. i think my record was around 13-14 kicks/hits
mybest w/ a homemade* one is 11 kicks
*home made meaning baloon filled w/ rice
ive made one of those rice ones before. they break really easy (well mine did) and the rice goes everywhere. i couldn’t hackysack to save a life. my record is like 6 or something.
and i’m even worse. seriously. if i kick it twice in a row i’m happy.
I love hack, it rocks me noggin.
I went out and bought a couple more yesterday after losing and breaking my former supply. There aren’t many people in the UK who play but I have a Czech friend who’s rather good. I got into it when I was in France, I was introduced to it by my Kiwi neighbour.

now is it easier to hacky sack or ride a unicycle?
I used to hack quite a bit, my record was like 52 conecutive hits or something. I haven’t done it in a really long time though. I got kinda bored of it, and I took up unicycling.
I used to hack quite a bit back in the day. Thought I was pretty good. Then I saw some people kicking one around the other day and they seem soooo much better than I remember. I like using hackey sacks for juggling. If I drop one it doesn’t roll away.
I love hacking. I haven’t had one for the last month because mine died and nobody sells them around here. I went to NZ on the holidays to ski and site see and i am in love with Queenstown. In Queenstown basicly every shop sells footbags, good ones too. So i picked up two 16 paneled seapa hackys, one bead and one sand.
I like them both, which do you guys prefer, sand or bead filled?

I LOVE TO FOOTBAG ive won a local shred some people put together at my school. i use a MR. SANDBAG i recomend for any beginners and also for highly skilled players. jim penske won a comp with it they rock. i play NET and FREESTYLE it is addicting but a good addiction. not like smoking, footbaging is a fitness addiction and it mad FUN!!!
